Lousy Golden Chopstick

Golden chopsticks at Tan Quee Lan. Ro and I always walk pass this shop on our way to House of Steamboat and it always look packed. Decided to give it a try to satisfy my craving of steamboat since like duno when. All food are displayed out and you will have to help yourself with it. We waited like the whole of our dinner there for the pork to appear but nope, it failed to make its appearance despite the waitress saying it will be out soon. The chicken is badly cut up and all frozen together. Talk about how unappetizing it is.

One thing that is nice is the crab that they provide. It is not the usual flower crab that steamboat places offer but the ones we eat at tze char. sweeter and meater. The vegetables provided were lousy. Cabbage were not cut up, juz huge pieces of them, golden mushroom whose roots are not cut off properly, resulting in dirty woodchips in them and watery seaseme seed sauce. No hotdogs, only chinese sausage provided and the so called 'satay' provided are all soaked in cold oil... we didnt touch them.

I tried taking picture of ro but he keeps repeating ' So terrible dun need to reccomend la!' for like 10 over times. But i need to blog about how bad it is ma.. whahhaa..

Ro asked if this steamboat satisfy my craving and my reply?
