2 months into the Year 2008

Blink of an eye and its mid feb of 2008.. Chinese New Year has passed, Valentine's Day has passed. Many changes has taken place and I wonder if I'll be able to catch up....

I had great fun over the luna new yr holidays coz i went over to malaysia to visit Ro's parents. I like his dad.. very bubbly and talkative, full of himself but nevertheless a very nice fatherly figure. however, given my temperamental nature, i dun think both of us will live in peace :P Ro's mum is the typical quiet giver of the family. she never complains even though uncle keeps picking on her. its pretty amazing that she never flares up even when sometimes we can see that its quite unjust. i guess she is the direct opposite of me.. heehee.. i am never wrong, always right! so dun try to accuse me or point that i'm wrong :P visited Ro's granny and then went to Justco to shop. Justco reminds me of singapore's vivocity coz its big. o ya! we had dinner at a restaurant after the shopping trip and love the yu shen there! there wasnt much vege and they had this yellow n red instant noodle like thingy so the whole yu shen tasted crispy & nice! i like!!

the major change in this yr is work. Sherin resigned and thus finance n accounts department had some re-shuffling. the other snr financial analyst will take over sherin's position s the accounting mgr and the lady that was previously working under him will now be reporting to my boss irvin. i feel like an only child, suddenly having to share my treats wif an elder sister. it shouldnt have affected me much but this lady will soon be going for her maternity leave and i have to cover for part of her work. this really worries me as one of her reports for month end takes her 12 hrs. i would have to start learning from her next week. i will have to do the closing on my own next month and it is also the quarterend. scary! i hope i dun fail my boss. in any case, i am taking this opportunity to make myself perform. i'm too self-satisfied in my own comfort zone. its time i raise up to challenges and work hard!

just read thru my cpa australia mentorship program and realised that i have really been too complacent. there are many areas to be achieved and i have to work hard to complete them. step one is sitting down with my mentor sherin and planing my future. i must complete my practical experience asap! I must be more proactive!

2008 is a year of self-reflections. reflecting on my work, my life and my growth as an individual. i will strive hard to achieve my personal goals! Do well in my career, clear all my debts, save enuff for my future plans and most of all, be a supportive girlfriend, daughter & sister!

Bitten by the lazy bug.....

i'm feeling really really sleepy... guess the lazy bug has flown over again..

i've been really busy these days.. was busy polishing the candle holders and the urn on sat tat i had give my mani pedi a miss.. so disappointed. ugly nails for cny :(

these days i keep getting insect bites on my thighs and behind my knees.. seriously i duno wats happening.. nv had so many insect bites before. now i have ugly legs.. wan to chop them off.. :(

zach juz passed me the bottle of pineapple tarts.. the bottle is humongous!!! my goodness.. i almost faint from the shock. i am so d-e-a-d.. i overbought pineapple tarts this yr.. 3 small bottles and i manage to clear only one and a half bottles.. plus the box tat mum bought from bangawan solo.. add this.. die die die.. :(

i'm beginning to dread cny.. just 2 days of celebrations and i have to prepare for so long, so many stuff to do. luckily this yr its 4 days of celebrations coz i'm going to msia on the 3rd and 4th day.. wooohooo!!!! my first cny msia trip!! hope the ang baos collected will make the trip worth it.. muahahhaa.. in any case.. i hate the prepartiong work :(

why do i always run out of clothes to wear? i bought 4 sets of pajamas, 5 dresses, 2 skirts, 3 tops, 2 pairs of shoes and i still feel tat i dun have clothes to wear on cny?? :(
