Ro's uncle (His dad's younger bro) has recently moved to stay near them and thus he was invited to join us for dinner. I always felt his uncle doesnt look chinese.. kekeke.. maybe of his tanned skin. Went back home for cake but ro's uncle didnt join us as he had something to settle. See the black forest cake? Ro tot it was his dad's fav (coz they have it every yr when he was young) but apparently the dad's taste has changed.. whahahaha.. I wont forget what his dad said in the car :P Do you guys like the picture of his parents? it took 3 shots and a threat from me " We will take till both of u smile at the camera".. whahahahhahaa
A family shot of all 4 of us! I balanced cammie on th fish tank and it almost drop lor. coz the top of the fish tank is slanted. i have to set the timer, press the button, reposition cammie (coz it keeps slipping) and run over for the shot. hence the reason for ugly smiles and blurred image of me. sigh.. When will i get a tripod?
Uncle (Ro's dad) saw this advertisment that HillXuan restaurant is having their 5th anniversary celebration and decided that we gave it a try. In celebration of his birthday. We order 3 dishes that were on the promotion list. Top from left: Brocoli with mushroom, Pu-er Tea, Crispy duck and dong bo rou (fatty pork. not as good as Dian Xiao Er). The rest were normal priced, crispy prawns and salted egg crab. I feel the coffee shop near Ro's place serves the best salted egg crab that i've tried till date and i hope we'll get to eat there real soon. I'm missing it alot!
