Cinderella Lost her Car...

Walk walk walk and I can feel my kilos shedding off! Carried my fat bulky laptop (okie, the bag is fat and bulky but the laptop is heavy) and brisk walked from the office to Fook Hai to meet my dearest Nana.. Huffing and puffing with beads of perspiration dripping off me, I finally see her emerging from her office. Even the nice aroma from Barcode Bakery couldn't entice me to queue up for the wonderful raisin cheese bread.

BUT!!!! Horrors of all horrors, with the heavy lappy and my oxygen gasping breath, we cant find her car!!! We went down.. No car.. We went up.. No car.. Where is little red riding hood? Was she kidnapped? Was she covered due to the renovation works there? Nope.. Cinderella has forgotten where she left the little red riding hood.. Thankfully we manage to locate her.. Imagine poor little red riding hood alone in the old dark car park.. and off we went to ION in search of food and air con..

We almost tried Taste Paradise but decided to be on a thrifty mode and check out the basement for a more economical dinner. Lu Gang Xiao Zhen by The Asian Kitchen seems to be perpetually crowded and thus we decided to give it a try.

Red menu with beautiful pictures of what they are offering left us drooling in anticipation..

A portion of the restaurant that is empty. If only you can see the duck.. I must go back to try one day and see if it matches up to Dian Xiao Er..
Crunchy season beans with salted egg yolk. Spotted it the moment I flip the menu. Nana and I just can't say no to salted egg yolk.
Sweet and sour pork that never goes wrong. Crispy batter with sweet and sour gravy a perfect combination.
Lu Gang Fried Rice to satisfy the craving in us.
Mango Sago which is neither too sweet nor too sour.. Desserts are best shared with friends!

And so we went in search of Cinderella's shoes.. Ferragamo Shoes to be precise.. A pity that ION's branch doesn't have what Cinderella wants and so she had to flee.. over to Takashimaya's one..
Before she can flee from the evil witch (ION's Ferragamo that doesn't have what she is looking for), off she went with me to have some Yami Yogurt..

Cinderella found her glass slippers at Takashimaya and Prince Charming gave her the go ahead to purchase but a little mouse (aiya, i feel so mean to refer kym as mouse but Cinderella only has mouse as friends in the story book) told Cinderella there is another model on sale at Paragon that she might wan to check out. And so, off to Paragon Cinderella went, with mousey number 2 (that's me) in tow..

But alas! It seems that Cinderella is only fated with the particular Ferragamo that she liked as the shop in Paragon was closed for the day. However, with supreme tenacity, Cinderella manage to convince the staff to open the doors for her.. With a heavy heart, Cinderella left after trying some of the shoes there.. She knows that only a particular pair of glass slippers would fit her and no other. To get or not to get.. Cinderella decided to sleep on it.. but her little mousey friend knows she would get it. No other glass slipper would fit Cinderella.. Just that one...

In any case, Cinderella lost her Little Red Riding Hood again! Albeit just a brief one, simply cause there was a bad bad wolf on level 5 pretending to be Little Red Riding Hood. Thankfully Little Red Riding Hood was happily waiting for Cinderella on Level 6... and they lived happily ever after...
PS: I feel Ion is infested with PRC service crew. In fact, we were served by only PRC the whole night! The dinner place, all 3 Ferragamo shops and even Sony when I popped in for a minute to confirm the new cammie I should be getting.. Scary!
