My lunch kakhi... my mentor..

Today's a sad day.. its been raining since yesterday, with the on and off showers. my lunch kakhi cum mentor, sherin, has resigned and today's her last day.

went for sun with moon dining japanese restaurant with the accounts team and my boss yesterday. the lunch was sponsored by martin, our finance director, though he couldnt make it as he was flying off to US. the food there is good, so far its my 2nd visit there and it still never fails to fill up my satisfyingly :) i had the salted kalbi pork rice! irvin was asking what was the diff between the kalbi pork n the normal pork we have and i replied, ' this is a branded pork as it has a name, unlike normal pork, which is just pork'. haha.. lame joke indeed.

today we went to modestos. nice pizza there, however, the pasta was slightly disappointing as the salmon cream was terrible. the salmon isnt fresh thus there was a purid taste to it. i miss sherin. she is my listening ear, listening to all my gossips, grumbles and lame jokes over lunch, giving me guidance, consoling words and also joining me in all my nonsensical rabbles. she is my mentor for my cpa aust. i'm grateful that she agreed to be my mentor, soothing my fears in facing the problems that i have for the program. one thing i'm glad is i'll be meeting her on a frequent basis for my cpa program :)

from today onwards, i'll have to lunch with my boss coz i'm other lunch kakhi is on maternity leave. hope all goes well.. dirty rice life.. here i come!
