~ Marina Bay Sands (Part One) ~

Marina Bay Sands. The hotel that is plagued with many complains..

Complimentary night stay for mum and 2 more nights to come.. Bro's turn next weekend and Mr Ro's the week after next. People who didn't know would have thought my mum's a high roller!
They upgraded us to the Horizon Deluxe Room that is located above level 22.. We got level 36..

The bathroom with only a sliding door that does have a lock. See, no bath tub... There goes my hope of soaking in a tub.

The basin and toilet bowl. I'm standing where the sliding door is. PS: No lock can!

They have their own 'brand' of toiletries.. No famous luxurious toiletries for me this time :(

Different glasses catered for your needs. Thank god I spot my favourite Chamomile tea!

A mini safe for your usage. Only 4 digit combination, I wonder if it would ever be secure enough.

And this is the corridor to the rooms. Brightly lit in the day with sunlight streaming in at both ends of the corridor.

The dark lift lobby. Somehow they were didn't switch on the lights there during the day. I applause their effort if they are trying to save the earth. PS: The lifts are real fast! I love it!

And we paid a visit to Uncle Benny's Atrina Room before visiting the shopping area to find food. Atrina rooms are located from level 2 to level 22. We were supposed to check into the Atrina Room if not for the upgrade. Not much of a difference except that we have an additional space for maybe people to bring their sleeping bags over to camp.

~ Nandos Nandos ~

Nandos Nandos we finally tried. After walking past it every Sunday and saying we would try soon. Mr Ro loves to remind me that he had that with his ex in JB previously. But why would I mind? Over is over... duh..

Rooster signage! Asking me to get the hell in!

It's difficult to get the attention of their service crew and I do see them putting out advertisements for more helpers. Thus I can totally forgive them for their slow service.

Mr Ro thinking of what to have. Check out the little boy behind. He has orange colored hair!

My quarter chicken with coleslaw and old style chips. Coleslaw sucks. Gimme LJS anytime! Madeira Red for me. A sweet, fizzy, pomegranate lemonade made with Sprite and finished with a delicours sugary rim. The sugary rim manage to transfer itself onto my arm and made me feel super yucky all the way home!

Mr Ro's quarters with Mediterranean rice and garden greens. Rice tasted bland and his drink I would never touch. Crimson Cola, the sweet and punchy pomegranate that enhance coca-cola's caramel notes and garnished with pop-in-your-mouth pomegranate pips. The cola has no gas and tasted outright sour!

Where is his pomegranate pips in the drink? And guess who I spotted a mile away from me.. I swear I sense her

~ Marina Bay Sands ~

Here I am, checked into Marina Bay Sands with free upgrade of room. I guess they know I'll be spending alot of time here since the rest of them would be stuck in the Casino.

Bumped into Kemmy and Karen while I was having lunch and boy am I jealous. These 2 ladies still look gorgeous as ever! Little Chloe has grown up to be a beautiful little girl and I'm so happy to see her too. Too shy to talk she could only smile sweetly at me.

Many of the shops are still closed and thus after visiting the few shops that are open, Mum and aunt decided to hit the casino while I am now back at the hotel surfing net and blogging. I'm supposed to start on some work but I am realllllyyyy lazy to touch them. Sadly, this post is without photos as I've forgotten to bring my cable around. Photos will have to wait till tomorrow when I'm back home. Loads of photos to share so do stay tuned!

Shin Kushiya

Shin Kushiya we decided to try. As an attempt to cheer me up after a lousy day at work before we catch our movie.

How good can it be, I've always asked. I have the perception that it is expensive and probably tasted like the BBQ food we have during chalet days.

Shin Yaki Onigiri. Charcoal-grilled rice balls with eel.

Enoki Maki. Golden mushrooms wrapped with thinly sliced pork. I have a huge instinct that the mushrooms are unwashed.

Ebi Shiso Maki. Whole sea prawn wrapped with thinly-sliced pork and shiso leaf. Sea prawn = BFF can eat.. lol!

Ebi Avocado Maki. Sushi Roll with prawns, avocado and mayonnaise. I would say its good enough to fight my favourite dragon roll!

Uzara Tamago and Tsukune. Quails eggs coated with soy glaze and homemade minced chicken meat ball. Do you know I heart Quails eggs the most? It's so difficult to get them outside.

Seafood Kakiage Don. Assorted seafood and vegetables lightly battered and fried, serve in a rice bowl. Ro says it's basically battered onion rice bowl for he can't see any seafood at all. I did see a few pieces of prawns and fish.

Thank you Mr Ro for trying to cheer me up.

See my face? Butter and jam all over.. lol! Actually I've already recovered..=

Look what I found in my bag. Packets of wet tissue. A habit of mine. Ro says I should start a collection of wet tissues as a hobby since its FOC. LOL! Letters to Julia proves to be a light-hearted romance comedy. I like! Not boring that I would find but not fantastic either. I love the actress inside. Mama mia girl, she is reallly pretty. How I wish I can be her!

Butter and jam all you want...

I should have known it would be difficult to handle you. Demanding, egoistic and bad-tempered you are. A Mr self-believe know-it-all who always feel everyone is defensive against you. Hello, they are just trying to put their point across and explain why they disagree with you!

I still don't see what is wrong with me using the word 'Gentle reminder'. I don't belive in being rude nor aggressive. I do not want to end up like you! Self-centered f**ker! So what if you say you appreciate what I did? That is not going to pacify me, Mr F**KER! I'm going to bite the bullet for now. Let's see who gets the last laugh in future! humph!

PS: Do not ask me anything about this post. It is personal and just for me to vent out my anger. In other words, shut ur trap and don't ask! Don't be a kaypoh!

~ Pedi Pedi ~

Finally, a long deserved pedicure. Do you know the last time i had one was in March before my photoshoot? Both Gen and Mr Ro says the same thing.. 'Hao xin ni la....'

So.. There you have it! Brand new painted nails and smooth heels. I know I'll look for the male manicurist the next time..

~ Welcome to Singapore ~

Ro's Mum finally paid Singapore a visit today. Vivo Dian Xiao Er we went, with my mum and dad and me being late for an hour. LOL! My dad's rubber timing again. Thankfully the lunch went well and off we went to shop without dad.

I am just so glad his mum had fun here, shopping to her heart's content (sponsored by Mr Ro) and even happier that both mums went along well. She was very excited and even told my mum it would be great if she could drive in often to shop around. Hope she'll visit us often. I know mum enjoyed her company and I hope she did enjoy ours too..
