~ Kenny Rogers! ~

It's been ages since I last had Kenny's and with this craving, I requested for it as dinner tonight. A nice dinner treat from Jesslyn to me (due to a scrap challenge).

It is also Albert's first visit to Kenny's and he ordered the ribs as he hates chicken with bones.

LOL! Gen with her signature slanted body and me getting squashed by the 2 of them. I love being squashed at the back as it makes me look smaller and in proportion to them.

See Gen's pose again? Oh wait, I think the sitting is all color co-ordinated. Photo with Jesslyn is black-grey-black. Photo with Birdie is grey-black-grey. LOL!

Jess loves having dinner with Birdie. LOL! Look at her smile!

This is how much Birdie loves the ribs at Kenny's. Wait till he try Tony's!

~ Mr Ro and Applebee's ~

Applebee's at TripleOne@Somerset where the old Singapore Power is. An actual day celebration for Mr Ro.

Ultimate trios - honey BBQ chicken wings with blue cheese sauce, Spinach & artichoke dip and mozzarella sticks.Three-cheese chicken penne - an Italian trio of cheeses top a rich mix of penne pasta, grilled chicken, bruschetta, fresh basil and Alfredo sauce with a toasted side bread. We somehow love the number three tonight.

Me love the nachos that goes with the spinach & artichoke dip. Will be back soon for more! Happy birthday to you Mr Ro!

Rowan's Birthday!

An early celebration for Mr Ro's birthday. La Vie Cafe at 25 Jalan Sasa 6, Taman Gaya (near KFC). A neat little cafe that is both tranquil and good for the busy soul.

An open concept for the dry kitchen. You will be able to spot Chef Braun at work.

Lady boss Carol, my uni mate cum msn gossip buddy cum listener. I miss her badly now that she has relocated back to Malaysia.

Cherry pork soft bun to share. Pork stewed so well that the fat melts in your mouth. Easily removed too if you don't take fat meat. Buns soft and warm.. this melted my heart.

Macau Pork Chop Burger. Mr Ro's dad truely enjoyed this. A novelty he says. Nice tender chicken with tasty burger bun.

Mr Ro's Seafood pasta in white wine tomato sauce. Seafood so generous and huge that left us wondering if they are all specially handpicked. I love the skill taken to pile them up high. Mr Ro loves this. Best tomato pasta that he has had. (Thank god I don't make tomato based pasta, if not I will be defeated.)

My Ginseng Chicken and Mr Ro's mum's Beef Stew. Although not a fan of the drumstick (I prefer breast meat), I finished it all up cause it is just so fragrant! Nicely spiced soup base (just the right amount, not overpowering) whetted my appetite. Beef stew so tender that all 3 of them keep praising it between bites.

Sweet gesture from Carol and Braun. A nice little lava cake for Mr Ro. The first lava cake his parents have. They love it, so did I!

Are you able to spot an outsider? I was glaringly not a member of the family as they were all in stripes! All by coincidence! (I do not have a single striped top and I dislike polo-tees :p)

As per the Ng family's custom, a birthday cake is compulsory. They said the one at La Vie is too tiny to be counted as a birthday cake :S No comments.

Happy birthday Mr Ro. It's your last birthday as a single man!

You broke my arm, I burn yours...

Sounds freakish? I broke my cutterpede's elbow yesterday (glued it back using my all time favourite Glossy Accent) and today, while I was bling-ing my shoe using the I-rock, I burnt my elbow! Yep! Red and ugly blister appear within seconds... Oh well.. Hope it recovers soon!

~ Soon Pah Day ~

Yep, its the day to make my statutory declaration at the Registries of Civil Marriage. They have moved temporarily to the MND building.

The place is pretty old and tattered to what I feel..

And even though they moved their logo together to place at the entrance for photo taking,

The inside is still a dismay.. This is the waitng area before the couple goes into the room for their Solemnization. This is for couples who are not doing their solemnization outside of the office. For us, we are doing at Four Seasons, hence, we're just here to do our declaration that all information provided is correct and to collect our marriage cert for the actual day's signing.

Meet up with the folks at Ion after that and Daddy found his suit! Bought shirt, suit and pants at one shot! Cheap Cheap! A real steal at G2000 with nice cutting too! And on we proceed to Four Seasons for the Chinese food tasting.. Presenting... the judges... Mr & Mrs Lee..

Mrs Chia aka Madam Lee...

Mr Ng & Miss Lee.... Verdict of the meal? The western is 10x better! However, 2 out of the 3 old folks would rather we choose the chinese with some amendments to it.. Oh well.. Just have to weigh the pros and cons before deciding by Friday!

Chose my gown!

Yep! Selected my gowns for both my Singapore & Malaysia wedding and will collect them in due course. However, the men in the family ain't too happy with their coat selection and will most prob custom make them.. Talk about vain-pots.. LOL!

Proceeded to Sentosa for dinner! Me & my parents! Who do I look like? Dad or mum? Don't know why my dad is smiling so ugly-ly here. He obviously needs practise before my big day!

Ro and his parents. Auntie was VERY VERY distracted by people walking about behind me. I had to keep repeating to look and smile into the camera. Ro looks like his mum but have the face shape of his dad I feel.

The old folks together.. First meet up of the dads together and they seem to hit off quite well. Must be the beer.. LOL!

Salted egg pork ribs.. They're good! I love the sauce.. Told ya I love everything salted eggs..

Garlic kai lan for the vitamins that we need for good health.

My favourite butter crayfish that gave me 3 acne the very night... I think I'm allergic to seafood but if you know me well enough, food is much more important than beauty.. LOL!

The spicy stingray that I never get to eat as it was thinly sliced. All parts of the fish has chilli on it.

Claypot toufu to give us the proteins.. Ok ok.. I'm lying, we just ordered whatever we feel like having and not coz of the nutritional value.. LOL! I love my gown... Yep, out of the 3, just one of it.. LOL!
