Fun-tas-tic Nite...

Went for Fun-Tas-Tic 3 workshop at MWL and meet mum after that..

The 4 layouts that are incomplete.. Kekeke.. got to do homework..

Walked about PS and decided to check out orchard central..

I doubt i will go there again? coz its really empty and i dislike the structure of the building.. not shopping frenly.. it feels like the shops are scattered about, bits and pieces all around..

So we proceeded to go to Ion coz mum wanted to get the calvin klein bag that she saw the other day..

It's light up for xmas tonite! the whole orchard road is lighted up with gold and red and blue. The stretch of road before Heeren is in gold and blue, the rest, from Centre point to dhoby ghaut area, its in red and gold. Mummy and I personally prefer the red and gold color.. Kekeke...

Again.. i went home empty handed but mum bought a pair of shoe and a bag..

I love today! Not the shopping, but the class at MWL!

Friday again.. finally.. I feel so drained..

Had a call with my boss before leaving the office and he commented in his email about my file.
" you just love making it complex :)"
Duh.. I made it complex? I just wanted to do up a report that can be used again and again, fuss free.. That's what technology is meant to do right? Anyway he agrees that it's a report that can be used again and I'm glad he does appreciate the hard work i've put in.

One thing, though, he is super precise and sharp! he noticed that one of my column of figures in my revenue file is centrally aligned instead of right. I had to search a good 10 mins before i know what he was pointing to! Wow.. I likey! He will train me to be precise and sharp too!

Ro caught a ride from his colleague and thus the initial plan to meet at bugis for fish soup was cancelled.

Great suggestion from Gen, Ding Tai Fung we went for our dinner.. waited about 30mins to get a seat but i entertained myself by looking at the chipboard accent which i bought while waiting for Ro. kekekekeke..

I had fried rice with shrimp and Ro had the chicken soup with noodle. I was having a throbbing right eye brown and headache thus not much mood to take any photos. In fact, Ro had to remind me to take photo of the food. whahahaha.. the fried rice was already half eaten when the photo was taken and i even forget to take his noodle. The perils of cranking my brain too hard.

Went shopping and Ro bought a checked shirt from fcuk. He was the last customer.. whahaha..

Packed fruit tart from Fruit paradise as Ro was still feeling abit hungry from his noodle..
PS: he commented the japanese lady who packed the tart as ' a not pretty japanese with big nose'
So mean right! as if he very handsome lor..

In any case, he was so tired after reaching home that he didnt eat the tart. My mum ate half and the other half is kept for his breakfast tomorrow.

A romantic date with Nana at Scarlet Hotel.. Located just next to the maxwell carpark.

A dark little boutique hotel with staff wearing a long cape just like a dracula.

Desire... A quiet restaurant with a service that doesnt warrant the menu price. A quirky looking waiter who keep dropping weird hints, a blur looking manager look-a-like guy who gave first nana ice water when he served both of us warm water just moments ago. And when i got him ot change, he gave me ice water and nana warm.. ??? As for the food, the serving's tiny.. We shared an appetizer, a main and a dessert.. If we didnt share, i doubt we'll be full.. Will i go again. i doubt so. But it's definitely worth a try, but pls dun order the Kurobuta Pork that we did. It tasted exactly like 'shio ba' roast pork that we get from the kopitiam :P Oh, and the fondant cake, its pumpkin.. not chocolate.. so please do not make the mistake as we do and order it without reading properly..

Headed over to Ark at Ann Siang Street (I think) for dessert. A relatively new cafe i think coz the place looks very new and many of the shadow box are without pictures. A very nice Apple crumble ala mode and a not too nice calamari. Cheap tea though.. only $3.80 each, both for my camomile and nana's hibiscus..

I love exploring new places with Nana... Babe, lets do it again sometime soon!

Free Dinner Again!

Lunch at city hall! and a trip to the paper market. Jess had to buy the materials needed to do her bestie's prezzie and paper crazy me bought more papers again! all from Sassfrass. Love their bold print and happy looking papers.

This is the end product of Jess's hard work. 3 hours i think. I love it. Great talent there. I doubt i'll be able to product work lidis.

I love their dong po rou (stewed pork belly) coz the fats absolutely melts in the mouth!

While waiting for her i shopped the whole daiso. yep, the WHOLE Daiso coz she was oh so late. her 30 mins stretched to an hour plus. Daiso, den after Page one. But oh well, she's paying for dinner so who's complaining.. whahahahaha...

I cant do meet ups after work i think.. I was so tired at the end of the dinner that i had difficulty concentrating on what she was saying..

Guilt- Stricken and Massive Pressure in the head...

Left work at 6pm today without completing my work. Was supposed to finish the expense report and start on the EA renewal one. was still struggling with the expense report when i receive a mail from my boss asking me to look into the EA renewal one and ask him any questions tomorrow since he will be in for half a day before he flies off to Shen Zheng..


The various report crafting and formulas have left me brain dead, ending work every night with the feeling of a very tight band around my head..


Sigh.. I need to buck up tomorrow.. No more guilt! I will stay to do my work tomorrow! Awww.... got a 1am call on thurs morning/wed midnight with the US...

Btw: I bought pearls and diamonds at MWL today :P

My 3rd layout all by myself!

A picture of me posing outside the spa at batam holiday inn during the day. We had the spa at night, 9pm. Our very first spa! for both Ro & Me. This is the very famous layout that made me decide to never scrap with Ro again.

I love this brand of paper, Webster pages. They always have flowers and animals. Check out the deer.

I put lace underneath the header.. so difficult to make it stay. Had to resort to using fabric glue :P

I love the lace framing the photo. I bought them from Prints.

My first time tearing paper and curling them. I like this effect. might look beta if i distressed the edges givin it a burnt look..

MP Again!

A weekend at Marmalade Pantry again.

Brought Mum and Ro for a sunday dinner at MP. Mummy ordered miso toufu, which basically is silken toufu with a few strand of vege tempura together with soya sauce. whahaha.. a dish at $18 with a cost price of less than $5!

Ro was a vegan thus he had what i ordered previously, truffled risotto with field mushrooms. He complained of small serving and also it was a tad too saltish that day.

I had the signature cesear avocado wrap and I like it. Except for the potatos as side. too much for my liking.

Brought mum to have the tako balls but hor, greedy me asked for more sauce more mayo and it became too saltish. but overall its still yummy. (although the horror of seeing so much old was used in the cookin of the balls frightened me alot).

Shop around and mum bought clothes from ZARA and Mango. Hahaha.. see where my shopping genes come from?
