So far so good..

Visited Ikea with Ro & Mum and I'm happy!
Bought the shadow boxes which I have plans to use for xmas! Yippeee! hope it'll be successful and I also found my transparent toolbox at Tampines 1! But hor, should have bought the bigger sized one coz it seems the small one that i've gotten might be too small to hold futher acquisitions.. kekekke.. I still love it!

I've been in MS for more than a week and have met all the colleagues in my cubicle..

So far so good. It's same same but different as Infocus. Many of my colleagues work from home, all are friendly and fun and work very very hard.

I've passed the MS Sales and MSRA test and gotten the access. Also spoke to Larry Lai from Redmund who used to work for my boss. 2 other person, Jose and Heather did not acknowledge my mail nor ping me so I guess I'll give them some time, should be busy I guess.

Well, my boss will be back on Monday. Hope all will still be as rosy as this week.

PS: MS's cafe at level 21 is by Olio and the wrapper they use for the sandwich looks exactly like the coach paper wrapper! kekekeke...

My First Layout!

Tadah! My first layout without any help.

Ro commented that it was too dull and forced me to put the stickers of the heartshape, the dog paw and the doggy sticker. I felt it kinda looks out of place on my layout but well, i take it that's its a joint-effort layout. :)

Well, at least button is happy with it.. The picture proves it!

Meet Eve after work today. she was in a dilemma over work and need some advice and listening ear.

pop by my facial place to grab my cleanser and proceed to meet her at paper market(cityhall). Boy am i glad i went! I found my trimmer! I found my trimmer! I FOUND IT!!! La La La... remember a few post back i posted with the pink paper cutter at scrapbook class? i found that! but it's in the light green one. the very last piece left! well, just as well coz ro is the co owner of the trimmer. he'll again grumble its not manly if its pink. :) exerted a big big huge amt of self-discipline to not get anything else. well, i did get an additional blade in case it well blunt and the stocks ran out. kekekekeke..

Proceeded to Marina Square for dinner coz we felt like having steam boat. Eve reccomended Suki-ya. What really disappoints me is the limited array of food. there isnt any seafood and no pork liver. the soup base is just plain water. maybe that was why i felt it didnt taste good.

well, we talked n talked n eat n eat. or rather, i ate. eve was not herself, she lost her appetite coz of work, normally she eats like double the portion of what i eat? basically we ate and yak till the last order which is around 10pm. I was feeling sleepy by then. and the ice cream was only one serving, dispensed by the manager which is too little for my liking. :( I wanted more...

Suki-ya, will i go again, nah.. coz Jin Deli is back~!

PS: I duno y the collate done by picasa is so tiny everytime. can anyone advise how to make it big? the picture shows me with my new cutterpede u noe..

Auntie Ye Feng Kuang!

I played the tour guide again!

5th Auntie joined us to JB for shopping! Meet Rowan at city sq and uncle fetched all of us to Tebrau City. He couldnt join as he and auntie (Ro's dad and mum) had something on in the evening.

We started by having old town for lunch, well, at least for me coz i had not had my lunch yet. Then after, we comb the whole area starting from the top most level.

5th auntie and i are fans of vincci shoes. kekeke.. Both of us each bought 3 pairs of shoes, out of which 2 pairs are of the same design just different color (Yep, both of us bought one design and both white n brown). I love them!

We shopped the whole of tebrau city and 5th auntie found her samsung phone pouch that is like mine. Cheap cheap! Only RM20!

We went back to city square after that to grab dinner.I finally had mary brown. I've been wanting to try mary brown for the longest time coz my mum said it tasted good. nothing like KFC which i absolutely do not take :P I have to agree with her! no oil dripped out when i peeled the chicken skin off unlike kfc. However the fries sucked just like KFC. Can anyone do fries as good as Mac?

Finally after 5th auntie completed one more purchase at Mango, we headed back home. We wanted to take the bus back, the way we came, but the queue was horrendous!! the q was from the bus interchange at the basement all the way up the escalator to the departure hall! no choice but to take the illegal taxi home. at least we can skip the bus queue and head straight back home. S $10 per pax and we were driven in an old White Proto Waja. All the way to auntie's hse at sengkang and mine at hougang. not too bad a deal! Sure hope she enjoyed herself!

Kimochi... & 4Bia 2.. Faint..

Meet nana for dinner and movie at vivo! I missed her alot!

Japanese style cafe, Kimochi, serves nice sandwiches and salad. Nana and I shared a California salad with special japanese dressing, pork shogayaki sandwich (which is stir fried pork with garlic) and the asari soup (clam).

We liked it~! the pork was fragrant and the salad dressing was delicious! we polished everything in just a matter of minutes. whahahaha.. as usual, we bring out the best in each other.

Slight shopping after dinner to digest and make space for my nachos! Sadly, the nachos lao hong (not fresh) one. But hor, as usual la, we cleaned it up just like a vaccumn cleaner! :P

I normally refuse to watch horror movies (ro oso scared) but i cant say no to nana.. yea, i have a weak spot for pretty babes.. kekekekeke.. we caught 4bia 2 which has 5 short ghost story. i wouldnt classify the last one as ghost story coz it was a comedy with no ghost in it! kekekeke.. not too bad la, at least i didnt have nightmares :P

Nana, this is just a once a year ritual hor, the last one i think was last year. so no more ghost movie for 2009 ok?

A Brand New Start....

1st Oct 09, A New Lease of Life! My first day at Microsoft was an easy one. No need to remember names and match them to faces, no need to be scared of talking to the boss.

The whole department is out at Sentosa for the kick off, my boss will only be back on the 12th from his business trip to Hong Kong and Japan, thus only the secretary and me.

Second day was even beta, the secretary was working from home and thus i pop over back to tanjong pagar to join Jonathan and Carolyn for lunch.

This is my desk. it's so small. right now, the red basket is kept in my pedestal. Had to make space for my phone which is huge and the intray has been shifted to my left.

Yea, the table is tiny. From this picture, it is from the left, where the scotch tape dispenser is, to the edge of my intray. Thank god they believe in working paperless. Where can I put it otherwise?

A bright and airy pantry! It's huge with sofa and a magnificient view! I can see the whole of fullerton, the esplanade, the merlion, marina sq, the national day floating stage all the way to the national library! unblocked view! the area of the building where my seat is located, we are able to see the whole of the IR. Wonderful wonderful.. kekekeke... free flow of drinks in the huge huge fridge (funny how i no longer crave for coke even though i can have unlimited ones everyday) and free fruits every morning. On friday, small packets of organic nuts and preserved fruits are available. I took 7 packets coz there were 7 variety! Nice!

Meet ro at bugis after work and we went to tan quee lan street for some wonderful fish bee hoon! not to mention the marmite pork ribs! Thanks to Cat mama who introduced me to this shop. I'm now hooked! Its juz next to the apple strudel shop!

Marmite Ribs! it tasted abit saltish but would have tasted wonderful with rice. Yum!

Creamy butter prawns which were fresh but no wow factor..
I'll definitely be back for the fish bee hoon!

Sigh..spent alot on a pair of grey levis jeans today.. Heart pain!
