Exploration of the new....

ION !!

Ro took leave to accompany me and we decided to explore ION! :D

Reached ION at 4pm and started walking through the whole of ION. Believe it, we did not shop, basically just walked the whole area of every level, noting the various shops and we finished the mall in one and a half hours!

Conclusion after the one and a half hour? ION's shopping levels are split into different standard, just like the caste system in India. The higher you go, the more branded the shop! Ro & I declare that we are at the very bottom of the caste :P

ION has 4 levels underground, boosting of food courts and the various shops that we (at the very bottom of the caste)would visit. One point to note is that the whole place is full of SHOES! YES! SHOES! My weakness!!! Had to exercise FULL control over myself.

Ro was very nice and bought me Chocolate Daifuku! I Likey! Nippon-Ya is having storewide 10% i think. Just a box of Daifuku and they gave me a nice paperbag for it. My mum saw my photo and tot I went shopping again :P

We couldnt decide what we want to eat and thus settle for our favourite food, the ramen. Not sure if Santouka set too high a standard, but we have yet to taste any ramen in Singapore that can rival it. No wonder the long queues everyday.

Aoba Hokkaido Ramen at the ION is the same as the one sold at Manpuku at Tampines 1. Basically the noodles suck and the soup is much too saltish for my liking and the customers sitting at the other table beside us. Ya la.. I kaypoh evesdrop again :P



I wanted to put an unhappy face but u know la, cam-whore ma, see camera must smile.. Just like Mr Button.. kekekekekeke..



Went for Dunkin Donuts after ramen. Ya.. Gluttons we are. Not too sure when was the last time I saw Dunkin Donuts in Singapore but I love those Chocolate filled ones with sugar sprinkle on them. Ro say he recall they used to sell mini ones when he was young. I duno leh. I only know nice to eat i like it since young only. Too bad it closed down all but no worries. Its now at the ION! Even old uncle auntie oso like Dunkin hor.. Old brand leh. The auntie q-ing behind me with the hubby was abit disappointed dun have mini ones.. Obviously last time really got sell mini size de.

All in all a day well spent! Thank you Mr Ro for the dinner and treats :)

A Fruitful Day of Leave..

Woke up late and had to rush for my appointment, but not before I take some photos of 'Before'... Hmmm.. I was having good skin & good hair day.. Must be the relaxing mood since I'm on leave :D

Yes!! I got my signature look back! But not totally as my hair is still very very layered so it will still take awhile for it to be one length for all. But at least I got my straight hair n bangs back! I likey!

Bot my ballerina pumps at Far East after my date at the hairdresser and ran off coz i was in a spending mood! See.. Nice rite?



In any case, off I ran to meet Fion & Mui at Infocus. To catch up and to bitch about with them :P I do really enjoy bitching.. whahahahahaha...

Went home after that and Ro packed my favourite chicky rice for dinner!~
Nice of him right? See got egg!!



After dinner we did our project, the cornflake cups! Easy & fun to do. Maybe can sell during chinese new year. ANybody want? A bottle of 30 selling at $12! Do let me know if you're interested.



And hor, My baby button really really loves to take photo. I realise he keeps sitting near me to get into the pictures! Kekekeke.. Cam whore like mummy!

The 3 silly ang gong kias...

All thanks to our Organizational Behavior Lecturer, we have conveniently named ourselves ' Ang Gong Kia'.

Cant really recall the lecturer's name but he's an indian and what he probably meant was 'Ah gong kia' instead of 'Ang Gong Kia'. Different meanings altogether. One being 'Silly kid', the other, 'A Doll'.

Its been 6 mths since I saw the 2 ang gong kias and it felt as if we're in each other's life everyday. We still chat, or rather, gossip like nobody's business, camwhore non-stop, laugh till Sheryln's cheek bones ache and me & carol's botox wear off... kekekekeke... No pretense, no need to lower our volume. Just 3 silly ang gong kias enjoying themselves, oblivious to the stares or maybe complains of others..

I cant say I miss school. It was hell, juggling work, school, projects, tests, and exams. But I miss them. Carol with all her beauty product recommendations, Sherlyn with her ladylike behavior.

Ah... I miss those days...

Met Na Na on Sunday to satisfy my craving for steamboat....



And I can list down a thousand reasons as to why she is my one and only BFF...


1)She loves steamboat as much as me (We Heart Pig's Liver & Quails Egg)


2)She can always match her appetite to me


3)She loves trying new places with me




4)She doesn't mind cam-whoring with me even though others might stare at us





5)She can't bring herself to act like a ghost.. OMG all the giggling fits she has..






6)She beautifies the pictures that I take with her..(Ya, I destroy the pic coz I'm so ugly)


The list can go on forever...

But most of all, I love my Na Na darling for who she is..

Someone with no airs,
able to tolerate all my nonsense,
someone who is able to spread her wings and fly without much restrictions,
a friend whom i do not have to make a concious effort to keep in touch but will never fail to be there when i need her,
a beautiful babe with brains to match,
a fun loving bubbly girl who never fails to cheer me up.

Wonderful Saturday Evening... Priceless!!

I totally enjoyed myself this evening even though I hated the grass more than anything.

But the performances put up by the various Schools and the Singapore Dance Theater just got me totally fixated on the stage!

I love it when the ballerinas do the pirouettes in their tutus! All the footwork that takes them years to master. Whole body full of sinewy muscles accumulated through the years of training. Graceful moves depicting the different moods and expressions. Sometimes it seems as though they're swimming in the water.

I love the atmosphere tonight. Parents with their young kids totally enjoying themselves and their picnic basket. It nice to see the kids running about the green field while the parents sit back to relax and enjoy the show.

Many little girls came in their ballet wear, looking cute in their white leggings and tutus. Ro says he wants his daughter to learn ballet coz ballerinas all are very refined. Just as he said that, a little girl in tutu walked pass, digging her nose >.< Kekekekeke... Not so refined after all!

I so hooked....

on Bonito Chico!

I swear they have this power over me.. and many other girls i believe, judging by the way their stocks get sold out in 30 mins or less...

Yes.. Bonito Chico is a blogshop and they have managed to do so well they just celebrated their 3rd year anniversay!

In just a month's time, I managed to spend about $270 bucks out of which $160 is mine! But all are back orders as I didnt manage to grab the clothes on time. Poor me have to wait for 3 weeks or so in order for my clothes to arrive.

I think the reason why they are so popular is :

1) Self designed by the 3 young girls themselves

2) Affordable pieces.. each of them average around $25 be it top, skirt or dress!

3) All are latest trends that are inspired by various big brands like DKNY etc

4) Pretty model with a great figure AND a bright smile

5) Everything gets sold out fast leaving you to drool in front of your lappy, waiting for the back order to be up. By the time it's up, you will decide to just grab everything coz you don't want to miss out AGAIN>

6) Weekly post of new clothes leaving you dying for more!

I am really in awed of these 3 girls! Don't think I will ever achieve as much as they did in my whole entire life...
