Mummy's Birthday is tomorrow!

Mummy's birthday is officially 25 mins away and she has gone to bed.. probably afraid that her age will catch up with her.. kekekeke..

Went for Tampopo at Liang court with mummy and rowan today for dinner. I tried the black pork katsu while mum had the normal one. black pork taste much more tender den the normal pork. I'll most probably order what ro had today, the black pork shabu shabu coz the pork taste much beta when its juz boiled. yum!

I rushed to meet mum, peixi and bro after work ytd. first they say go defu, den they decide to go what pier place. so i had to take the mrt to marina bay to wait for them.. till 930pm! i stood outside the mrt station for 30 freaking minutes coz there were no benches nor seats available.

that was not the worst..

we couldnt find the bus stop as there were road works all over. there were no available cabs. Thus we walked....

LAO PA SAT!!!!!

my god! can u imagine, standing for 30 mins and den walkin from marina bay mrt to lao pa sat coz we didnt noe the road was leading to lao pa sat. all we wanted was to flag a cab! we muz have walked at least 20 mins along the road by the side with no pavement! so dangerous lor!

ended up eating at lao pa sat coz we were too tired and hungry to find a cab. hahaha.. i bet it was definitely an unforgettable birthday dinner for my mum!

Its day 25 of my facial and seems like getting worst...i hope its only temporarily and it will pass soon.. Here're the gruesome pics.. mum's been making all the weird sounds emphasising how disgusted she is about my face.. :P

Savings... Depleting...

Ever wonder why isit that everytime we finally manage to save that merge little savings, things will happen and there goes the money?

I scrimp & save and managed to save pathetic 300 bucks for this month and down it goes, into the toilet bowl... LITERALLY~!! Had to pay for my hse's toilet bowl as the old ones keeps choking.. Just when i decide to go on a tour this had to happen! i tot it could wait till after my hk trip and then i would not be as tight fisted.. well, well, 300bucks lesser for my hk shopping budget. Will have to work around it. I'll survive! kekeke!!!

now i have to save up for my hong kong shopping trip.. and my next semester's school fees...

O ya!! i gotten a distinction for my exam last semester but i'm quite disappointed as i expected to get a high distinction. oh well... i'm just lousy.. have to work hard next sem!

Facial, Work & Holiday!!!

I finally went for my facial!!! but seems like my face is getting worst den before. but alice the beautician say its supposed to be lidat coz its purging out the impurities. my face is now superbly oily, can fry an egg on it! and i can see blackheads surfacing. they used to be just pores which are kinda stuck, now i can see the pores open wif the blackheads surfacing. guess it means its working! i'll take a photo every time before my facial to keep up wif the progress heehee...

work has been pretty stagnant.. i feel as if i'm not performing. keep making silly mistakes and i've kinda lost my working momentum. gone were the days where i'll go to work happily. well.. i guess its just transition period.. i'll survive! i'll work hard!! i'll jia you!!

by the by.....i'm finally going for a HOLIDAY!!!! 7 years of my working life and i'm finally leaving.. on a jet plane! HONG KONG HERE I COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm going hong kong from 21st aug 08 to 24th aug 08. will be going wif my mum, aunt, cousin & Ro. ro was abit disappointed as he wanted it to be his so called pre-honeymoon trial trip wif me. kekeke.. but its also a blessing in disguise as my cousin knows HK like the back of her hand~ she goes every single year and knows where the bargin hunts are! i hope it'll be an enjoyable trip but i'm already feeling the pinch coz the accomodations plus airtickets is already about S$800. guess i'll budget myself to spending just $1k for shopping and food. :)

Boring life ... Boring me...

Life has been very boring for me.. Monday to Friday is just work and home, weekends, household chores. I'm literally tired every single time of the day..

this afternoon, ro was asking wat if he moved in and we broke off.. would i chase him out immediately? this tot has never ever passed my mind before. i think it goes to show that he doesnt really have faith and that he has no confidence that the relationship will last. it stung abit but i can understand. we have been together for only less den a yr, and now with my new job and hectic workload, we haven had much time to spend together. more squabbles over minor stuff has oso occur which we nv had any problem wif previously.

well, life goes on.. we just have to work hard to make the relationship last. in any case, i dun believe in forever. if it happens it happens, if it doesnt there's nothing i can do can i?
